This week BrisStyle welcomed three new members!

Megan from Blossom Child makes original handcrafted children's wear. Who wouldn't want to be seen in this uber chic denim pleated dress. Look familiar? Blossom Child was also part of the incubator section of the Brisbane Stitches & Craft Show.


Seriously cute vintage tea towel bib from new BrisStylette Suzanne of The Seamstress and The Daughters. This dynamic team of sewists include Suzanne, her daughter and daughter-in-law!


Crafty spark Shannon from My Girl Design churns out sweet little accessories, applique tops, fabulous buntings and these cute as a pie Bushka friends.

It's been a busy week for BrisStyle members with loads of good news and giveaways.


Michelle from Pedrosprout had a huge week with her sweet booties making it to the front page of etsy plus her booties pattern is featured in the current issue of Homespun magazine No. 72 Vol. 10.5

Miriam from BubbaChenille entered 5 handmade items in The Ipswich Show and received 4 places!

Katie from Kitty Boo Boo, Teneale from Wicked Child Designs and Olivia from Scampsville were all featured in RAVE magazine after participating as stall holders at the 4ZzZ Trash and Treasure Market.



Sandrine's etsy shop SMBoutique has officially reopened and she also has a new blog!

Following her success at the Stitches and Craft Show, Christine from Little Diva has opened a new etsy store called Usew2 with easy to follow sewing patterns including the Easy Peasy Girls Skirt.

BrisStyle at West End Carnivale


BrisStyle members Olivia, Rebecca and Olivia's beautiful mum Bridget set up shop at West End Carnivale on Saturday to promote all things BrisStyle.


The lovely Helen popped in before heading for the skies with all the BrisStyle promo gear, trestle table and dried bananas - oh my, they were good Helen, thanks! Although they weren't as good as the organic jam donuts we feasted on at the end of the night ;)


There were so many gorgeous BrisStyle wares including Scampsville cross stitches, jewellery, crochet beanies and cards; Raspberry Pink fimo jewellery and hair clips;


Ruby2GoGo button earrings and Scooter Girls; Pretapawte dog and cat collars; edward and lilly lavender scented birds;


Elven Hair wooden pens and keyrings; and Jellygnite's notebooks, Dashie Dogs and patterns to make your own!


Olivia whipped up this fabulous handmade banner on the day, Bridget bought some plants to green up our stall, we made flower garlands and did lots of crochet. As the sun set the fairy lights went up and the BrisStyle word had spread that little bit further.

Fundraiser and Giveaway for Gem


Gem is a medical assistance dog for BrisStyle member Eliza of Elven Hair. Little Gem is having an operation on her knee today and Eliza is having a fundraiser to cover the costs as well as a giveaway on her blog. If you have a spare moment please pop over to Eliza's shop to help out and/or spread the word about Gem.

BrisStyle at the Stitches & Craft Show


The BrisStyle gals were out in full force over the 5 days of the Stitches and Craft Show. Helen from Ruby2GoGo did an amazing job of promoting everything fabulous about BrisStyle both on her incubator stall and on stage!


Louise rocked it with her saucy aprons, workshops and her usual Miffy flair.


Trish's stall was packed with crafters stocking up on fabric and threads.


Olivia kept the crowds happy with Scampsville accessories and cool cross stitcheries.


Christine kept the little peeps of the Show well dressed with gorgeous dresses, skirts and her now infamous Snigglebottoms.


Plus there were loads of BrisStyle helpers and visitors including Bec on the Dear Fii stall. Bec and Jade's bags were also seen on the Wardrobe Refashion runway.


oh, and Rebecca trying to channel Louise's fabulousness while babysitting her stall...
