Brisbane City Council is once again putting on the fabulous Saviours of the Lost Arts with loads of crafty events, activities and workshops!
And of course wherever there's craft in Brisbane our fabulous members always make an appearance, we'll be bringing you all the latest news about which BrisStylettes are involved and in what capacity.
Kicking it off is BrisStylette Eliza from Warm Sigh who will be at SotLA making her beautifully scented handmade soap! This will be the first time Eliza has attempted soap making in public, and she will be available to answer any questions! In fact, if there's a question you would like to ask Eliza now feel free to leave a comment on this post!
All the fun and mess will be there; the oils, scents, even the lye, ready to be turned magically into soap in front of your eyes! But wait! There's more! As soap takes up to 6 weeks to cure, Eliza will have some that was made earlier for you to try and buy. Free samples will be available (while stocks last!)
Eliza has been making soap since she had her dairy goat farm 18 years ago. Recently Eliza, and Warm Sigh, have gone vegan, using no animal products at all to produce high quality, extra kind to the environment and your skin bar soap, liquid soap, shower gels and cream soaps.
So, if you have ever wondered how soap is made, come along and watch!
