Established in 2006 by Kay McMahon, a QUT lecturer from the Creative Industries faculty, FPS is a fashion and lifestyle magazine and website produced entirely by QUT students from fashion, journalism, media, creative industries and business disciplines.
FPS has most recently expanded its online presence, which boasts new and interactive content through its web page www.frockpaperscissors.com and social media platforms.

Creative Industries lecturer Kay McMahon said FPS 'is fashioned by a collective of QUT’s brightest creative minds.  It offers an intelligent insight into the local and international fashion industry and presents distinctive styles and approaches that aim to motivate and inspire'.
FPS magazine editor Madison Drabble said the sixth edition promises to enlighten, entertain and inspire its readers.  “The magazine aims to showcase Brisbane as the pulse of Australian style and innovation, from fashion, events, food, people and places,” she said.

Approximately 5000 copies will be printed and distributed this year, which is reliant on students sourcing advertisements and then delivering copies to fashion precincts across Brisbane and southeast Queensland.

FPS is having a launch to celebrate their sixth edition and the revamp of their online presence. See below for all of the details.
