Meet the Marketeers

With only one more sleep till the BrisStyle Indie Designers Market we have another sneak peek of what to expect from some of our fabulous marketeers.

Ever wanted to meet Prime Minister Kevin Rudd? Want to get to the bottom of the OzCar scandal? Well now you can! Pop by the Wicked Child Designs stand for a political natter. You may even brush shoulders with Dame Edna while you're there.

Give a thought to your fashion-conscious little ones when you arrive at the PretaPawte stall. Funky handmade cat and dog collars like this Pink Retro Nest collar will make you and your furry friend the talk of the town.

Armfull of bunnies anyone? Hayley from RE-read uses vintage children's books to create sweet little one-of-a-kind brooches. Our pick: the Armfull of bunnies paper brooch.

For a fresh, contemporary approach to baby items keep your eyes peeled for the Mimoo stand where you'll find play mats, cot sets, wraps and other goodies like this Pram/Stroller Wrap.

Kiki and all her little friends will be hanging out with Catherine at the Made by Maisie stand. Catherine's dolls are lovingly made with soft wool felt, homespun and 1930s reproduction fabrics and they're all waiting for a special little home.

You'll be the centre of attention with one of Prettyhead Designs brooches on your lapel. Cute bear brooches come in a variety of colours and are guaranteed to add a touch of cuteness to anything you wear.

Nicole from Hot Toffee will be there with her divine fused glass jewellery. We're loving these delicious lemon lavender cufflinks.

If funky messenger bags are your game, then head straight to the Lemon Ink stand. Lemon Ink Messenger Bags come in midi and maxi sizes and are made from recycled materials. Who would have thought truck curtains, old seatbelts and bicycle tubing could combine to make this eye-catching Midi Messenger Bag!

Plus if you're still working on your shopping list there are loads more BrisStyle marketeers listed here.

The BrisStyle Indie Designers Market kicks off tomorrow at 9am sharp at St Augustine's Church Hall, Racecourse Road, Hamilton.

See you there for a spot of retail therapy, hot coffee, yummy cupcakes and fabulous acoustic entertainment!
