Brisbane Brown Owls 2012

Are you looking for somewhere funky to 'get your craft on' in 2012? Then you may be interested in joining in all of the crafty fun that goes on at Brisbane Brown Owls. Organised by two of Brisbane's craftiest ladies, Rebecca from edward & lilly and Sam from Jetta's Nest this is one crafty group you will want to be a part of!

Brown Owls meet once a month in various locations throughout Brisbane for a cuppa, a crafty chat and of course to learn a new crafty skill! All are welcome, from beginner crafters to those who are more advanced. The Owls love to meet like minded crafty souls no matter what their skill level!

Amazing.....making macrame owls!
Membership: membership is FREE (Yay!), however, there may be one-off costs associated with special craft-a-long projects. The cost will cover materials etc. You can join at any time during the year by simply emailing Rebecca and Sam at brisbanebrownowls@gmail.com.

Monthly Projects: A lot of people have their own crafty project to bring along to each meet but for those who don't or for those who would like to learn something new there will be an organised craft-along project to participate in each month. In 2012 the Owls will be learning embroidery, crochet, knitting, papercraft, screen printing and lots lots more.

Fancy a spot of embroidery?
Getting Involved: If you are interested in learning a particular craft or sharing your skills by teaching a craft, Rebecca and Sam would love to hear from you! Email them at brisbanebrownowls@gmail.com with your ideas and they'll do their best to make them happen.

Knitting with the Owls!
Information about meet-ups is sent out by email and posted to both the Brown Owls members blog and the Brisbane Brown Owls facebook page. Be sure to check out these pages for all of the latest and greatest info!

Happy Crafting!
