If you can't make it into town for the BrisStyle Indie Designer Market on December 10 or the BrisStyle Indie Twilight Market on December 16 (or you're just a market fanatic!) you may be interested in popping in and visiting our littlest market friends at the Bambino Bazaar Markets in Ipswich and Kenmore.

:: Ipswich - Saturday, December 3 ::

A group of talented “biz kids” from Ipswich will put their entrepreneurial skills to the test on Saturday 3 December when they peddle their creative wares for pocket money at the Bambino Bazaar Market Day. The market day is the finale event following a series of Bambino Bazaar workshops, created by Pineapple Productions and launched in mid-October at St Mary’s Outside School Hours Care Service, to teach 8-12 year olds the basics of running a small business selling their own products. All of the young entrepreneur's products have been made with a great deal of care and love so come along to market day and pick up a perfect one-of-a-kind Christmas gift for friends and family.

Are you a creative 8-12 year old? Want to learn how to sell your creations at your own market stall? Join our brand new ten-session school holiday workshop program and learn the basics of small business.

When: weekdays during school holidays, 3-24 January

Introducing.....Bambino Bazaar

We're really excited about Bambino Bazaar, a Pineapple Productions initiative to grow seedling handmade businesses in a community market business garden!

Bambino Bazaar is a 10-week course for junior creative entrepreneurs to learn the basics of small business through hand-crafted enterprise that culminates in running their own stall at a real live market. Designed specifically for 8-12 year olds, it is their goal to develop Bambino Bazaar into a regular feature on cultural calendars throughout South East Queensland.

Originating in Ipswich, Bambino Bazaar is getting set to take on Brisbane with the support of the Brisbane City Council in association with BrisStyle. In particular, a host of talented BrisStyle members will be mentoring the Bambino's as well as offering other valuable resources and skills.

You'll find our new friends from Bambino Bazaar at Saturday's BrisStyle Indie Mother & Child Market with their latest handmade projects on display. So please stop by and find out what makes Brisbane's newest handmade entrepreneurs tick and how you can support them through your own creativity!  In the meantime if you have a budding entrepreneur at home aged from 8-12 then get on board the Bambino express and enrol them in these upcoming FREE courses.
