It may have been raining outside but the BrisStylettes were out in full force on Saturday for our second BrisStyle Indie Mother & Child Market!
St Augustine's Church Hall was pinked up to the max in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Chicks in Pink, the Mater Charity raising funds to have positive, significant and real impact on people who are affected by breast cancer.
Buddy of the Galozels, even little Gem worked tirelessly throughout the day to raise much-needed funds for Chicks in Pink.
Mums were able to take a load off thanks to the Australian Breastfeeding Association, Australia's leading authority on breastfeeding, provided practical advice and information on the day.
A BrisStyle market wouldn't be complete without some hot entertainment and punters were in for a treat with wheeleR, a Brisbane band of brothers who deliver a fresh mix of indie pop-rock featuring melodic guitar, meaningful lyrics and a healthy dose of teen angst. Check them out on facebook.
Even the beautiful BrisStyle fairy came out to play, casting fairy wishes and delivering magical stones to all the little market shoppers in sight.
So a big thank you to all those handmade loving souls who came along to bring some Sunshine on a rainy Day!
The next big BrisStyle event is just around the corner and promises to be bigger and better than ever!
The BrisStyle Indie Eco Market is back!

It really was a marvellous day and a special thanks goes to the organisers for fitting us all inside the hall so brilliantly.
