Brown paper is king when it comes to wrapping - it gives the package a lovely no-fuss attitude and lets the ribbons or tags or buttons or whatever embellishment you choose take centre stage. I like to choose complimentary packaging colours for whatever item the buyer has purchased.
I love it when people make their own envelopes from fabric or pages from old books, and there are some amazing Brisstylers who do some incredible packaging like this.
Yes love Kraft (Brown) paper too like little chrissy , but love even more the 3 girls and the goat packaging!!!
Lovely packaging is nice but it depends on the original cost of the item. I often recycle packaging and sometimes it looks a bit daggy. But my items are deliberately inexpensively priced as they are everyday items and I don't want to increase the item or postage price to recoup packaging costs
Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all of the great tips and advice. I too love brown paper and let the ribbons and trims do the talking. Bells, pom poms, buttons, let your imagination run wild.
